This deliciously tender and aromatic Mahatma® Long Grain White & Jasmine Rice blend cooks up light and fluffy, perfect for making dishes with flavor in every bite. The long grains of both rice varieties make it ideal for using in stir fries such as homemade fried rice.
This mixture consists of our traditional long grain white rice which is neutral in flavor and fragrant, slightly sweet jasmine rice. When combined, these rice varieties balance each other out perfectly for an enhanced rice taste.
Both varieties are Non-GMO Project Verified and made without MSG and no added preservatives. The blend is also Gluten Free Certified, and suitable for vegan and vegetarian diets.
This rice variety can be cooked over the stove, in the microwave, in a rice cooker or other slow cooker.
Stovetop Method: In a saucepan bring water to a boil. Stir in rice. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until all water is absorbed.
Flavor Tip: Add olive oil and salt, if desired. Cook the rice blend in broth or seasoned water for additional flavor.

Of course, this blend can also be used in desserts like rice pudding, a hearty filling for sweet empanadas or cooked in creamy coconut milk and topped with mango for a dish of Thai sticky rice.
