Jasmine Rice: A long grain aromatic rice. Jasmine Rice has a slightly sweet taste and cooks up fluffy and tender.

Red Rice: A whole grain rice that is loaded with fiber with a nutty flavor and chewy texture.
Cook this rice over the stove, in a rice cooker or in a crock pot!
If cooking over the stove: In a saucepan bring water to a boil. Stir in rice blend. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes, or until all liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and fluff with a fork.
** Add 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tsp salt, if desired. For softer rice add ¼ cup more water. For firmer rice add ¼ cup less water.
On account of the long grain rice varieties, this blend cooks up fluffy and separate making it ideal for colorful rice salads, vibrant rice pilafs, stuffed mushroom or pepper filling, or to use as a hearty soup addition.
