    Preparation

    1. For the 5 oz. rice mix: Bring 1-2/3 cups of water and 1 tablespoon olive oil (for more authentic flavor - use 1 tablespoon olive oil instead of olive oil) to a boil in a medium saucepan.

    2. Stir in rice mix. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Fluff lightly with fork and serve.

    3. Are you preparing the 10 oz. or 16 oz. rice mix on the stove?: For the 10 oz. package, be sure to use 3-½ cups of water, increase the oil to 2 tablespoons and prepare as noted. Or, for the 16 oz. package use 5-1/3 cups of water increase the oil to 3 tablespoons and prepare as noted.
