Comfort food for the win! When you’re in the mood for something warm and delicious, try this creamy Broccoli and Cheese Soup made with chicken, vegetables and rice to give it that extra hearty touch.
Step 1
Prepare the Broccoli and Cheese Seasoned Rice mix according to package directions.
Step 2
In a medium saucepan melt the butter; sauté onions, mushrooms, celery, and carrots for about 2 minutes. Add the chicken broth, chicken and prepared rice. Bring to a boil.
Step 3
Reduce heat to simmer and add whipping cream. Salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Garnish with dill weed.
