Never cooked a risotto recipe in your rice cooker or Instant pot before? There’s a first time for everything and this recipe will show you how step by step.
No matter how it is prepared, the secret to any good risotto is using quality ingredients. While risotto often calls for Arborio Medium Grain Rice, this recipe uses our Organic White Rice or White Rice. These fluffy grains absorb all the flavor from the liquids: savory broth, velvety cream, crisp white wine, and creamy butter. When blended with cheese, the starches from the grains will give your dish a nice and creamy texture without being too mushy.
The recipe also uses Italian ingredients like Prosciutto and Parmesan alongside green peas and other vegetables giving it a signature Italian taste.

If you’re scratching your head over what white pepper is, it’s no mistake. Similar to black pepper, it comes from the pepper plant but white pepper tends to have a milder taste than black pepper.
