Step 1
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a large saucepan, over medium-high heat Add ½ garlic and onions. Sauté for 1 minute. Add rice and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, just until rice begins to turn golden. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, or until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork.
Step 2
In a large skillet, heat remaining oil over medium-high heat. Add turkey and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until turkey is no longer pink. Stir in green onions, bell pepper, peas, cilantro, water chestnuts, and jalapeno. Cook for 8 to 12 minutes, or until red bell pepper is crisp-tender. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add rice and mix.
Step 3
Serve warm with a drizzle of sesame oil and soy sauce. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
